In 2024-2025 Gothic Funk Press and the Gloria Coles Flint Public Library will again offer the
TEEN WRITERS WORKSHOP
The workshop is a safe and welcoming space for young writers to meet, critique each other’s writing, and share their love of the written word. We also publish an anthology of student writing each year, which is shelved at the library with additional free copies for students and their families.
The workshop is free to any area youth aged 11-18. We meet at the library every other Tuesday during the school year from 4:30 to 6 pm. Our next meeting will be on October 8th.
